Guidelines for using Sightline responsibly

These terms outline how employees should access and publish content across the Sightline intranet.

Account responsibilities

  • Use single sign-on credentials assigned to you. Do not share access with colleagues or third parties.
  • Keep profile information accurate so communications reach the correct audiences.
  • Report suspected unauthorized access immediately to security@sightlineblogs.com.

Acceptable use

  • Content should relate to company programs, knowledge sharing, or community initiatives.
  • Do not upload confidential data outside approved repositories unless the page is appropriately secured.
  • Respect intellectual property. Cite sources and follow our brand guidelines when publishing assets.

Content governance

  • Editors are accountable for keeping their pages current and archiving outdated material.
  • Major policy or compliance updates must be reviewed by Legal before publication.
  • We may remove content that violates these terms or company policies without prior notice.

Enforcement

The intranet enablement team monitors activity to ensure the platform remains trustworthy. Actions for violations may include:

  • Warnings and coaching from the intranet enablement team
  • Temporary publishing suspension for repeated violations
  • Escalation to HR or Legal for serious or intentional misuse
